Peavey Messenger PRO15 speakers are suitable as band PA speakers, disco speakers, school church hall speakers or wherever a PA speaker system is required. The 15" woofer speaker ensures good bass response.
8 ohms speaker impedance allows 2 x PRO15 speakers to be connected together in parallel for a combined impedance of 4 ohms. This allows a four speaker setup with two pairs of speakers per amplifier channel. This ensures the maximum power from most two channel PA power amplifiers which deliver their max output into a single pair of 4 ohms speakers. When a single PRO15 8 ohm speaker is connected to one channel of the power amp then the amp will usually deliver only approx half of its rated power output. If you only need a single pair of 15" PA speakers then choose the Peavey PRO15 4 ohm.
